Superintendent's Message

Dr. Walsh

The time for rest and relaxation is upon us! With the warmth of the season and the opportunities to spend time with family and friends, our summer days are filled with time to renew our spirits and energize ourselves.

As you enjoy this time, my hope is that you reflect on the good things of this past school year and set goals for the next school year, goals that will be both challenging and rewarding. During this downtime I’d ask that you keep in mind:

  • Each opportunity given to us by God is a chance to grow in grace and understanding.
  • Every day, we are called to be instruments of dramatic missionary growth and are meant to thrive in living out the message of the gospel each and every day.
  • Summertime provides us with some extra moments to spend with our God, deepening our relationship and appreciating the wonderful message of hope, mercy, and compassion and the role they play in our lives.

It is my hope that these next few months provide us all with a time to focus on the beauty of life and enjoy the world we have been given. Pope Francis tells us, “All that is good, all that is true, all that is beautiful brings us to God. Because God is good, God is beautiful, God is the truth.”

May your summer be filled with peace, relaxation and the joy of faith, family and friends!

Respectfully,

Dr. Kathleen Walsh
