The Maria Regina School Enrichment class, composed of 19 students in grades 4, 5, and 6, along with Mrs. Kavner, Mrs. Arpino, and Mrs Schachner embarked on marvelous journey to the One World Observatory on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.

It was an amazing adventure for all  will be remembered by students forever. The most recent theme studied was NYC landmarks, and the trip was a great culminating activity.  The students had researched their own individual NYC landmark and most were able to locate them from the 100th floor.

The trip started at the LIRR from Seaford, followed by a ride on the E train downtown, and taking the elevator up to the 104th floor of One World Trade.  The views from the top are stupendous. Many pictures were taken.  The elevator ride up to the 104th floor was amazing (the students wanted to take it over again).

After time at the observatory, the students walked over to the reflecting pools and discussed the significance of them.

Before returning home, the students walked part of the High Line.
