St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Regional School Implements “Mentors for Christ” Program
Posted on 12/13/2017

Catholic Identity is always at the forefront of what St. Elizabeth does. Two teachers have teamed up and created "Mentors for Christ." It is a program for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. Applications will be submitted. As a Mentor for Christ, students will attend monthly meetings after school. During meetings, they will complete service projects, have group discussions, and pray. Students will be assigned to a lower grade classroom. Approximately once a month, they will lead the class (with the help of the teacher) in service projects, faith activities, and prayers. Our mission: Pope Francis is calling all God’s children young and old to become missionary disciples, described as agents of evangelization. The schools believe that this program will inspire students to grow in their relationship with Christ beyond the classroom and the church building.
