The Morning Star Initiative team understands the value of engaging principals and pastors in planning for the future. These leaders know the challenges first hand and have played an integral role in shaping planning for revitalization.

Pastor Roundtables:

To ensure every pastor’s voice was heard, the Morning Star team established two types of pastor roundtables, one for pastors directly linked to schools and another set for pastors who contribute a subsidy to the general school fund. These meetings became an open forum for pastors to share their concerns and hopes for the future. The MSI team asked pointed questions and shared initial findings, getting feedback and developing relationship with each church leader.

Principal Roundtables:

Principals have helped the MSI team identify areas that need improvement in their schools within the realms of finances, academics, enrollment, facilities, leadership, and Catholic identity. The MSI team has developed this important relationship with principals through recurring, small-group, roundtable meetings to candidly discuss feedback and further development.
